10K Run - Sunday 12th July

We are once again delighted to incorporate the Kelso 10k as part of Kelso Civic Week,  entirely within the fabulous historic and scenic grounds of Floors Castle. There is always so much positive feedback from runners and their supporters over the years that we are very much looking forward to hosting this event again.

 

The course is best described as a mixture of road and trail. Some sections are uneven and there may be some loose stones or broken patches in places. After heavy rain the ground may be soft and slippery in places.

RUNNING NUMBER: You will be issued with your race number at registration. Registration will take place at Floors Castle, Roxburgh Street, Kelso, TD5 7RL, at the Terrace Café to the right of the main castle.

FACILITIES: Changing and toilet facilities will be available  Bags may be left in one of the tents available on the day, at the owner's risk.  

​

DRINKS & REFRESHMENTS: A water station will be situated just before the 5km marker and water shall be available at the finish. Refreshments will be available after the race in Floors Castle courtyard on production of your number. Non runners will be able to purchase refreshments.

PRIZES:  Medals and goodie bag for all finishers.

Kelso 10k is a running event, and although we appreciate you may need to walk at times, please do not enter if you intend to walk the whole distance. 

There is a time limit of 1 hour 45 minutes after which the course will start to be dismantled.

Please note we are unable to offer refunds.

The course is not suitable for runners pushing buggies or pushchairs.

The course is not suitable for runners with dogs.

The wearing of headphones is not permitted during this race.
